Course Overview

Reactions to allergenic ingredients range from mild to life threatening and the rates of allergies being diagnosed are rising in alarming numbers. That’s why the law now requires businesses to inform consumers if allergenic ingredients are present in their food.

This course will introduce you to the legal requirements of the EU’s Food Information Regulation. This recently introduced law obliges food handlers to give consumers accurate information about allergenic ingredients in  the pre-packed and unwrapped food they serve.

After completing this training there is an online test and, once successful, learners can download and print a certificate to be displayed in the workplace.
