Throughout the history of BS7671 there have been amendments added to most Editions. The amendments reflect improvements within the industry and can range from advancements in technology to safer practices.
This First Amendment to the 17th Edition is designated BS7671:2008(2011) and results from the improvement of equipment that could cause problems due to overvoltage in systems.
This course is suitable for those that completed their 17th Edition training before July 2011 when the First Amendment was released. Learners must have completed and passed 17th Edition before beginning the 17th Edition First Amendment course.
